About the role

The Student Scientific and Technical Creativity Center of Baku State University (BDU TETYM) is looking for an AI Developer with practical experience and a strong interest in artificial intelligence technologies. In this role, you will contribute to building AI-powered applications, integrating existing models and APIs, processing data, and developing practical AI solutions for real-world projects.

The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in Python, a good understanding of AI and Machine Learning concepts, and experience working with APIs. The ability to explore, learn, and apply new AI technologies to practical projects is important for this role.

What you will do

  1. 01Contribute to developing AI-powered applications and features.
  2. 02Integrate existing AI models and APIs into applications.
  3. 03Develop AI-focused solutions using Python.
  4. 04Prepare, clean, and process data for AI systems.
  5. 05Test AI model outputs and improve application quality.
  6. 06Research new AI technologies and apply suitable solutions to projects.

Requirements

  1. 01Good knowledge of Python programming.
  2. 02Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning fundamentals.
  3. 03Experience working with REST APIs and third-party services.
  4. 04Understanding of JSON, HTTP, and API integrations.
  5. 05Ability to work with Git and version control.
  6. 06Ability to investigate and solve technical problems.

Nice to have

  1. 01Experience working with OpenAI, Gemini, or other LLM APIs.
  2. 02Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI frameworks.
  3. 03Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
  4. 04Understanding of RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
  5. 05Experience working with PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
  6. 06Basic knowledge of Docker and Linux environments.
