About the role

The Student Scientific and Technical Creativity Center of Baku State University (BDU TETYM) is looking for a UI/UX Designer focused on user experience and modern interface design. In this role, you will contribute to creating user-centered, functional, and visually polished interfaces for web and mobile projects.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand user needs, create wireframes and prototypes, work with design systems, and collaborate closely with the development team.

What you will do

  1. 01Design user-centered interfaces and experiences for web and mobile products.
  2. 02Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
  3. 03Create high-quality and responsive interfaces using Figma.
  4. 04Create and maintain design systems, components, and reusable UI patterns.
  5. 05Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  6. 06Analyze existing products and propose solutions to improve the user experience.

Requirements

  1. 01Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centered design.
  2. 02Hands-on experience with Figma.
  3. 03Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
  4. 04Good knowledge of typography, color, spacing, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  5. 05Understanding of responsive web and mobile interface design.
  6. 06Ability to collaborate with a team and communicate design decisions clearly.

Nice to have

  1. 01Experience designing real-world web or mobile products.
  2. 02Experience working with design systems and reusable components.
  3. 03Basic knowledge of UX research and usability testing.
  4. 04Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
  5. 05Experience designing mobile applications.
  6. 06Understanding of motion design and micro-interactions.
